Hi! I’m Kelly.
People either love me or they hate me. Seems there’s no in-between. I would imagine most of us are similar that way, though. Problem is, with me, I constantly keep working toward being the best me I can be each day, so who I am today is different than who I was yesterday and who I will be tomorrow. Who I am to my best friends is going to be different than who I am to a perfect stranger off the street! If you fall into one of the many other categories that exist in between, who knows which version of me you’ll get!
Of course this is NOT to say I stop being myself, or that I have multiple personalities, in the clinical sense. I don’t. It’s just that I seem to keep outgrowing certain traits throughout my journey of becoming “me” and unfortunately, sometimes people get left behind.
Thank you for understanding that I need to look after my own mental health first. You come later in my priority list. I’ll show you the same level of respect as you show me!
(And never hesitate to call me out on my mistakes! It’s how we learn to be better… by acknowledging our own weaknesses first!)
